The Hospital and Health Management Course has been devised in keeping with the norm and standard of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, and Government of India. Accordingly, the course content, duration of class hours and teaching methodology have been duly worked out to make it a one year regular evening course running from Monday to Friday, every week throughout the year from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m., with provision of extra hours of teaching and field training as and when required.

The Institute has expert management/medical professionals, consultants and academicians as core and guest faculty members for teaching, training and development of course materials on the subject of Hospital and Health Management. All the enrolled students will be given teaching material on trimester basis. The course will be taught through class lectures, group exercise, case studies, audio visual aids and use of computers. A number of Hospitals / Health Care Institutional visits will be arranged to familiarize the students with modern management concepts that are integrated in present day Hospital & Health Institutions.

Eligibility
Graduates in any discipline or Diploma holders in any technical subject related to the hospital. Candidates sponsored by respective employer organisations

Management Principles & OB, Personnel Management, Health Care system in India, Epidemiology, Biostatistics & Health Economics, Planning, organisation and management of General Hospital Services, Planning & Management of Clinical Service, Management of Hospital Supportive Services, Management of Hospital Utility Services, Community Health Services, MIS & Communication, Financial Management, Marketing of Hospital Services.
